Aşk-ı Muhabbet Lyrics:
Allah muhabbet bahşetsin kalbinize
Daim ve sonsuz aşk eksin gönlünüze
Sevgi sadakat ve saygı merhemdir besler kalbi
Muvaffak eyle, sen daim kıl bu güzelliği Rabbim
Chorus:
CHORUS
Allahumma salli ‘ala Muhammad
(Allah’ım Muhammed’e salat ve selam gönder)
Khayru khalqillah, Rasoolullah
(O ki yaratılanların en hayırlısı, Allah Resulüne)
Rabbee yebarik, Rabbee, Rabbee yebarik likom (x2)
(Allah’ım mübarek kıl, Allah’ım , Allah’ım mübarek kılsın)

Lyrics:
Ashaab e Muhammad haq ke wali, Abu-Bakar Umar Usmaan-o-Ali
Yaraan e Nabi mein sab se jali, Abu Bakar Umar Usmaan-o-Ali
They are the closest companions
Most high in rank is their station
Among the gems they were chosen
The first to build our foundation.
These four our Prophet did entrust
Through whom the truth would reach to us
The pillars of his ways and his love
The beacons of his light for all of us.
The stars who guide us through the night
Their path: it leads to paradise
They are the roots, we are the leaves
We are raindrops, they are the seas.
And when the Prophet left this world
No harder time for all it felt
Then strength was found when they stood tall
They lifted and firmly held his torch.
Indebted to them how we are
They went great lengths for this Ummah
Their vision was on times later
They sacrificed so much for us.

Lyrics:
Vakit bir akşam
Halim perişan
Şarkılarda gam
Gözlerimde kan
Ruhumu saran
Bitmeyen tufan
Hasretinle bu
Dünya bir zindan
Olsa da hükmün
Hakkımda idam
Vazgeçmem bir an
Sığındığım liman
Gönlümde iman
Karanlık dünyada
Işığım Kuran
Kurtar kederden
Yoruldum dertten
Kanayan yarama
Sensin tek merhem
Vazgeçmem Sen’den
I am driftwood now
I am homeward bound
Pull me from the sea
Save what’s left of me
Kurtar kederden
Yoruldum dertten
Kanayan yarama
Sensin tek merhem
Vazgeçmem Sen’den
So forgive my wrongs

The Power Lyrics:-
Masisondele, masisondele haha phila nocolo yelele
(Let us draw nearer to perfect peace in life)
Subhan’Allah, walhamdu lillah
(Glory be to Allah, and all praise be to Allah
La ilaha illa Allah, wa’Allahu Akbar
There is no god but Allah, and Allah is the Greatest)
You can say it once
Or a hundred times or more
You’ll feel at peace inside
And it’ll open every door
Chorus:
That’s the power of remembering Allah
It’s the best way to purify your heart
And know you will be loved by the Merciful One
‘Cause that’s the power of remembering Allah
Subhan’Allah, walhamdu lillah
(Glory be to Allah, and all praise be to Allah
La ilaha illa Allah, wa’Allahu Akbar
There is no god but Allah, and Allah is the Greatest)
So much you can gain
Just by saying those few words
You can renew your faith
And be showered in rewards
CHORUS
La ilaha illa Allah (x3)
(There is no god but Allah)
Subhan’Allah, walhamdu lillah wa’Allahu Akbar
(Glory be to Allah, all praise be to Allah, and Allah is the Greatest)
Masisondele kuy’uAllah
(We obey You Allah)
Ngokukhulu ukuzithoba
(With submission, we humble ourselves before You)
Sizothol’ ukuphila Noxolo
(So we may find peace and happiness)
CHORUS

Lyrics:
(Translation and transliteration):
Zehaal-e-miskeen makun taghaaful, Daraye naina banaye battiyan.
Do not overlook my misery, by blandishing your eyes and weaving tales,
Ke taab-e-hijran nadaaramay jaan, Na leho kaahe lagaaye chattiyan.
My patience has over-brimmed, O sweetheart!
why do you not take me to your bosom.
Shabaan-e-hijraan daraaz chuuzulf, Woroz-e-waslatu cho umr koutaah.
Long like curls in the night of separation short like life on the day of
our union.
Sakhi piya ko jo maina dekhun, To kaise kaatun andheri rattiyan.
My dear, how will I pass the dark dungeon night without your face
before.
Yakayakaz dil do chashm-e-jaadu, Basadfarepham beburd taskeen.
Suddenly, using a thousand tricks the enchanting eyes robbed me of my tranquil mind.
Kisay padi hai jo ja sunaaye, Piyare pee ko hamari battiyan,
Who would care to go and report this matter to my darling.
Chushamma sozan chuzarra hairaan, zamehere aapme
baghashtamaakhir
Tossed and bewildered, like a flickering candle, I roam about in the
fire of love.
Naneend naina nayang chainaa, Nayaap aayen nabhejen pattiyan,
Sleepless eyes, restless body, neither comes she, nor any message.

Zehal-E-Miskeen – Hesham Abdul Wahab
DESCRIPTION:
‘Karitas’ is a spellbinding new composition by acclaimed British musician Sami Yusuf.
It was recorded live at the Holland Festival in June 2022 and delivered with
exceptional artistry by Cappella Amsterdam,
the Amsterdam Andalusian Orchestra & the composer’s own ensemble.
The work moves with intelligence and fluidity from Western choral music
to Middle Eastern modes to the cadence of Andalusia.
Modes traverse boundaries from the distinctive Bayati Shiraz
and Rast maqams to the aeolian. Subtly flowing rhythms & improvisation,
entrancing solos on the Chinese erhu, oud, ney, violin,
underscore the depth of the dialogue among traditions taking place here.
Lyrics by Fuzuli, a 16th c. Azerbaijani writer known as a poet of divine love,
are echoed here in the words of the 12th c. German mystic Hildegard of Bingen.
Intoxicatingly beautiful mawwals take verses from
the Andalusian poet Abul Hasan al-Shushtari (13th c.) and
Abd al-Ghani al-Nabulsi, a 17th c. Syrian writer.

Lyrics:
O Allah the Almighty
Protect me and guide me
To your love and mercy
Ya Allah don’t deprive me
From beholding your beauty
O my Lord accept this plea
حسبي ربي جل الله
ما في قلبي غير الله
Wo tanha kaun hai
Badshah wo kaun hai
Meherban wo kaun hai
Kya unchi shan hai
Uskey sab nishan hai
Sab dilon ki jan hai
Affeder günahı
Alemin padişahı
Yüreklerin felahı
İşit Allah derdimi bu ahlarımı
Rahmeyle bağışla günahlarimi
Hayır eyle hem akşam hem sabahlarımı
يا رب العالمين
صل على طه الأمين
في كل وقت وحين
املأ قلبي باليقين
ثبتني على هذا الدين
و اغفر لي والمسلمين

Lyrics:
(Translation and transliteration):
Na main momin vich maseetaan
Na main vich kufar diyan reetaan
Na main paakaan vich paleetaan
Na main moosa na firown
(Not a believer inside the mosque, am I Nor a pagan disciple of false rites
Not the pure amongst the impure Neither Moses, nor the Pharoh)
Bulleya Ki jaana main Kaun
(Bulleya! to me, I am not known)
Na vich shaadi na ghamnaaki
Na main vich paleeti paaki
Na main aabi na main khaki
Na main aatish na main paun
In happiness nor in sorrow, am I Neither clean,
nor a filthy mire Not from water,
nor from earth Neither fire, nor from air, is my birth
Bulleya Ki jaana main Kaun

Tuntunku Kepadamu Lyrics :
Kusadari, engkau sanggup
Mengambil kembali karunia-Mu
Dan kucoba, selalu mengingat
Takkan sia-siakan segalanya
Karena, suatu hari
Semua akan tiada lagi
Dan di akhir hayat kumohon
Kau ridho padaku
Chorus:
Allah, Ya Allah
Tuntunku ‘tuk tiba di Jannah-Mu
Ya Allah, Ya Allah
Jangan jauh dariku kudamba cahaya-Mu
Bersamamu kuingin dekat
Dekat dengan-Mu sepanjang usia
Ya Allah, Oh Allah!
Dampingi langkahku
Kusadari, kadang kulupa
Mungkin ini nafasku yang terakhir
Ampuni kurangnya syukurku
Maafkan kuragu kasih-Mu
Nanti, suatu hari
Saat duniaku usai berakhir
Di akhir hayat kumohon
Kau ridho padaku
CHORUS
Hari berganti
Kuyakin waktuku kian singkat
Tuhanku, biarku genggam dunia ini
Tanpa mencintainya
Karena ku kan segera pergi
Karena ku kan segera pergi
CHORUS (x3)
Tuntunlah aku
Setiap langkahku

DESCRIPTION:
Sami Yusuf’s composition ‘Veritas’ premiered at the Holland Festival in Amsterdam
as part of his concert series ‘When Paths Meet’.
From the minimal and ethereal sound of the intro,
it subtly transitions to a sense of awe at the astonishing majesty and multiplicity of creation.
The Persian-influenced musical phrasing of Sami Yusuf’s vocalisations
in the intro are inspired by the Daramad of Avaz-e dashti,
a subgroup of the Shur dastgah, a Persian modal system evocative of a meditative state.
Cappella Amsterdam sings quarter tones here and they do so brilliantly.
The flamenco and Andalusian sounds of the Amsterdam Andalusian Orchestra interplay
with Western classical elements and the vibrant Arabic maqam Bayati.
When the mode shifts to the passionate yearning of maqam Nahawand,
its similarity to the Western classical minor scale brings an effortless resonance between the two.
The outro joins Bayati and a harmonic minor scale in a multi-faceted,
fiery expression of multiple, even contradictory states of being,
while the vocalists insist,
‘Veritas’, ‘Veritas’ – Truth, Truth – and cast our focus beneath the turbulent surface storms
to the calm depths below.

You, you’re not aware
That we’re aware
Of your despair
Don’t show your tears
To your oppressor
Don’t show your tears
Try not to cry little one
You’re not alone
I’ll stand by you
Try not to cry little one
My heart is your stone
I’ll throw with you
‘Ayn Jalut where David slew Goliath
This very same place that we be at
Passing through the sands of times
This land’s been the victim of countless crimes
From Crusaders and Mongols
to the present aggression
Then the Franks, now even a crueller oppression
If these walls could speak,
imagine what would they say
For me in this path that I walk on
there’s only one way
Bullets may kill, bones may break
Still I throw stones like David before me and I say
You, you’re not aware
That we’re aware
Of your despair
Your nightmares will end
This I promise, I promise
No llores, no pierdas la fe
La sed la calma el que haze
Agua de la arena
Y tu que te levantas con orgullo entre las piedras
Haz hecho mares de este polvo
Don’t cry, don’t lose faith
The one who made water come out of the sand
Is the one who quenches the thirst
And you who rise proud from between the stones
Have made oceans from this dust
I throw stones at my eyes
’cause for way too long they’ve been dry
Plus they see what they shouldn’t from oppressed babies to thighs
I throw stones at my tongue
’cause it should really keep its peace
I throw stones at my feet
’cause they stray and lead to defeat
A couple of big ones at my heart
’cause the thing is freezing cold
But my nafs is still alive
and kicking unstoppable and on a roll
I throw bricks at the devil so I’ll be sure to hit him
But first at the man in the mirror
so I can chase out the venom
Hmm, a little boy shot in the head
Just another kid sent out to get some bread
Not the first murder nor the last
Again and again a repetition of the past
Since the very first day same story
Young ones, old ones, some glory
How can it be, has the whole world turned blind?
Or is it just ’cause it’s only affecting my kind?!
If these walls could speak,
imagine what would they say
For me in this path that I walk on
there’s only one way
Bullets may kill, bones may break
Still I throw stones like David before me and I say

Lyrics:
Bolotho-kar-isharay (Tell me, on whose gesture…)
Golap-thar-gondho-bilay? (…the rose gives out its fragrance?)
Bolotho-kar-isharay (Tell me, on whose gesture…)
Megher-pahar-brishti-jhoray? (…the clouds release the rain?)
Ei-duniay (…in this world)
Bolotho-kar-isharay (Tell me, on whose gesture…)
Hashe-chad-akashe? (…the moon smiles in the sky?)
Jonaki-dhey-je-alo (…and the firefly glows…)
Mayabi-abeshe? (…in an air of enchantment?)
She-kotha-bhebe-bhebe (Pondering over all of this…)
Mon-amar-jay-hariye (…my mind becomes lost in wonderment…)
Dur-ojanay (…to a faraway, unknown place)
Bolotho-kar-isharay (Tell me, on whose gesture…)
Golap-thar-gondho-bilay? (…the rose gives out its fragrance?)
Bolotho-kar-isharay (Tell me, on whose gesture…)
Megher-pahar-brishti-jhoray? (…the clouds release the rain?)
Ei-duniay (…in this world)
Who made the clouds come by
So we can live and be?
Sending rain so soft and mild
Cleansing you and me?
Who gave me clear eyes to see
The moon when it beams?
He taught me how silent love can be
A road to your dreams
Who taught the mothers of the world
To love us the way they do?
When all the trials unfurl
All they think of is you
You still make me cry
You still make me laugh
Don’t let me ever forget
About our golden past
And so the world moves on its way
Newcomers join every day
Tomorrow they will say…
