فَدُونَ مَـقَـامِـنَـا بُـرْجُ الـثُّــرَيَّــا
كَمَا نَطَأُ السَّحَـابَ إِذَا خَـطَـوْنَـا

وَسَابَقْنَا النُّجُومَ إِلَى الْـمَـعَـالِـي
فَـمَا سَبَقَتْ وَنَحْنُ لَهَا سَـبَـقْـنَـا

لَنَا شِيدَتْ صُرُوحُ الْمَجْدِ غُـرًا
لَحَاقُ مَـقَـامِـنَـا أَعْيَـىٰ وَأَضْنَـىٰ

فنَـحْـنُ الْـمُـسْلِـمُـونَ بِهَا نُكَنَّىٰ
فَـهَـلَّا تَـسْـأَلُـوا الـتَّـارِيـخ عَـنَّـا
أَتَـانَـا الدِّيـنُ وَالْأَرْوَاحُ ظَــمْــأَىٰ
شِفَاءً يُــبْـرِئُ الْـقَـلْـبَ الْـمُـعَـنَّـى

وَوَافَـىٰ وَالْـحَـيَـاةَ بِــلَا حَـيَـاةٍ
فَـأَحْـسَـسْـنَـا لَـهَـا طَعْمًا وَلَوْنَـا

فَكَانَ الْـمِـنَّـةَ الْعُظْمَىٰ وَأَهْـدَىٰ
لَنَا سَـنَـنًـا يَفُوقُ الْبَدْرَ حُـسْـنَـا

وَنَحْنُ بَـنُـوهُ حِينَ دَعَا أَجَـبْـنَـا
فَـأَوْرَثَـنَـا جَـنَــانًــا مُـطْـمَـئِـنَّــا

رَكِـبْـنَـا مَـرْكَـبَ الْأَنْـوَارِ حَـتَّـىٰ
بَـلَـغْـنَـا الْمُنْتَهَىٰ مَبْنًى وَمَعْنَـىٰ

مُـبَـارَكَةٌ خُـطَـانَـا حَـيْثُ سِرْنَا
سَـوَاءٌ إِنْ حَـلَـلْـنَـا أَوْ رَحَـلْــنَــا

فَنَحْنُ الْـمَـاءُ شَـقَّ الصَّخْرَ عِزًا
وَأَرْوَىٰ غُـلَّـةَ الـظَّــمْــآنِ مَــنَّــا
