The Messenger of Allāh is my beloved

We all cherish him dearly

Di antara semua makhluk, (Demi Allah) tak ada satupun yang menyamainya

None amongst the creation

-By Allāh- is similar to him
فَإِنَّنِيْ مُشْتَاقْ ~ زَادَتْ بِيَ الْأَشْوَاقْ

Aku sungguh rindu, bertambah rindu demi rindu dalam diriku

I certainly long for him
The longing continues to increase
وَتَسْأَلُ الْأَحْدَاقْ ~ مَتَىْ مَتَىْ أَلْقَاهْ

Banyak mata yang bertanya: kapan aku bisa melihatnya?
My eyes wonder

When shall I meet him
فَامْدُدْ إِلَيْهِ يَدَا ~ مُسْتَعْطِفًا أَبَدَا

Ulurkan tangan kepadanya, minta belas kasih selalu
Extend to him a request
Seeking his help

فَسَيِّدُ السُّعَدَا ~ يَا سَعْدَ مَنْ وَالَاهْ

Beliau adalah pemimpin orang-orang yang meraih kebahagiaan (di akhirat),
sungguh bahagia orang yang mencintainya

He is the master of the pious
How successful is the one who follows him
ربِّي هو الرَّحمنْ ~ لا يسكُنُ الأكوانْ
Tuhanku Yang Maha Memberi Rahmat

Tidak bertempat di alam semesta
My Lord is the Merciful One

He does not occupy place

ما فيه مِنْ نُقصانْ ~ قلنا: تعالى اللهْ

Tiada bersifat dengan kekurangan

Kita katakan: Maha Suci Allâh

He is clear of imperfections

We say: Allāh is Exalted
يَنْتَابُنِي الْأَرَقُ ~ شَوْقًا لِمَنْ سَبَقُوْا

Tak dapat tidur membelenggu malam-malamku, karena rindu kepada para
pendahulu yang begitu mencintai Rasulullah

I am overcome by sleeplessness

Longing for our pious predecessors
فَاعْشَقْ كَمَا عَشِقُوْا ~ طَهَ رَسُوْلَ اللهْ

Maka cintailah Rasulullah, sebagaimana mereka dahulu mencintai Thoha Rasulullah

So passionately love him, as they have loved

Ṭāhā, the Messenger of Allāh

فَامْدُدْ إِلَيْهِ يَدَا ~ مُسْتَعْطِفًا أَبَدَا

Ulurkan tangan kepadanya, minta belas kasih selalu
Extend to him a request
Seeking his help

فَسَيِّدُ السُّعَدَا ~ يَا سَعْدَ مَنْ وَالَاهْ

Beliau adalah pemimpin orang-orang yang meraih kebahagiaan (di akhirat),
sungguh bahagia orang yang mencintainya

He is the master of the pious
How successful is the one who follows him
ربِّي هو الرَّحمنْ ~ لا يسكُنُ الأكوانْ
Tuhanku Yang Maha Memberi Rahmat

Tidak bertempat di alam semesta
My Lord is the Merciful One

He does not occupy place

ما فيه مِنْ نُقصانْ ~ قلنا: تعالى اللهْ

Tiada bersifat dengan kekurangan

Kita katakan: Maha Suci Allâh

He is clear of imperfections

We say: Allāh is Exalted
يَنْتَابُنِي الْأَرَقُ ~ شَوْقًا لِمَنْ سَبَقُوْا

Tak dapat tidur membelenggu malam-malamku, karena rindu kepada para
pendahulu yang begitu mencintai Rasulullah

I am overcome by sleeplessness

Longing for our pious predecessors
فَاعْشَقْ كَمَا عَشِقُوْا ~ طَهَ رَسُوْلَ اللهْ

Maka cintailah Rasulullah, sebagaimana mereka dahulu mencintai Thoha Rasulullah

So passionately love him, as they have loved

Ṭāhā, the Messenger of Allāh
