The full moon rose over us
From the valley of Wadaa’
And we owe it to show gratefulness
Whenever a caller call to Allah
O you who were raised amongst us
Coming with the word to be obeyed
You have brought to this city nobility
Welcome, O best of callers!
Everyone in Quba (in Medina) welcomed you
And the sound of singing came from every corner
And their longing was quenched by the delight of seeing you
Your coming, my master, is more precious than gold
For the old you were a brother, for the young you were a father
It is our Lord who blessed you, glory be to the Giver
The Prophet, the Prophet, he who is of pure lineage
He was described in the books in the most beautiful words
The God-fearing, the pure-hearted, Ahmed the Arabian
In Taiba (Medina) lingers on the fragarance of the Beloved
Light, splendour and a feeling of awe
Taha’s (Muhammad’s) radiant glow resides in it, his sun never sets

For the beloved one’s grave there is immense love
In the hearts of the admirers
In it, there are blessings and endowments
That quench the lovers’ thirst
