كلمات العمل | Lyrics:

‎بطولةٌ.. قصّةٌ تطولْ
Valor, it is a long story
‎بحرٌ على موجهِ هُطولْ
An ocean, on the waves of which rain constantly falls
‎فما عسى أحرفٌ تفي
So what letters can do it justice?
‎وما عسى قائلٌ يقول..
And what can a person say?
‎مفوّهٌ، فارسٌ، أبيّْ
(He is) Eloquent, a Horseman, One of Honor and Self Respect
‎يصولُ للهِِ أو يجولْ
He attacks in battle for the sake of Allah
‎مبشَّرٌ سابقٌ عليّْ
He was given glad tidings, he was at the forefront, and of lofty status
‎يُحبّهُ اللهُ والرسولْ
Loved by Allah and his Messenger

‎أبو تُرابٍ أبو السبطَينْ
Abu Turab, the father of the two Grandsons
‎أبو الحسَنْ ذاكَ والحُسينْ
The father of Hasan and Hussain
‎أخو الهدى وابنُ عمّهِ
The Brother and cousin of the one who embodied guidance
‎صِهرُ النبيّ على البتولْ
The son in law of the Prophet, through his marriage to the chast one
‎فأيُّ خيرٍ إذا مضىٰ
So what other goodness is there when he sets forth?
‎وأيُّ سيفٍ إذا انتضىٰ
And what other sword is there when he unsheathes his?
‎وأيُّ حقٍّ إذا قضىٰ
And what other truth is there when he judges?
‎عَدلٌ وأشهادُهُ عُدولْ
He is upright, and so are his witnesses
‎فوقَ الفداءِ الذي حَواهْ
The one who was willing to sacrifice himself by sleeping on the bed of the Prophet
‎ورايةٍ لم تنل سواهْ
And loftier than the banner of war which was given to none but him
‎رسولهُ شاهدٌ لهُ
His Messenger is a witness for him..
‎بحبّهِ اللهَ والرّسولْ..
Of his love for Allah and his Messenger
‎سل خندقاً سل أمّ القُرى
Ask the trenches, ask Mecca
‎كم كرَّ والدِّينُ كبّرا
How many times did he advance towards the enemy, while the religion was cheering him
‎سل عنهُ بدرًا وخيبرا
Ask Badr and Khaybar about him
‎والحِصنَ والبابَ والدُّخولْ
And the Fortress, and the Door, and the Entry
‎ولا تسَل بعدَ ذي الفِقارْ
And after witnessing Dhul Fiqar do not ask
‎لمن تُرى النصرُ قد يؤول..
To whom will the victory go ?

‎حتى إذا نال مبتغاهْ
And when he had achieved his goal
‎تلألأَ الوجهُ في دِماهْ
His face shone amidst his blood
‎وقالها (فُزتُ) مقسِمًا
He said “By Allah, I have achieved victory”
‎في لحظةٍ كُلُّها ذُهول..
In a moment in which everyone was stunned and bewildered
‎سل خندقاً سل أمّ القُرى
Ask Badr and Khaybar about him
‎كم كرَّ والدِّينُ كبّرا
